The weather being much better than forecast probably helped. I hope you enjoyed the event if this was your first experience of orienteering. This was our first use of Bulwell Hall Park. Ideally we would have liked to park at the Start near the cafeteria. However football had priority and we were relegated to the outfield. By the way, the map only came into being in the last four weeks. We expect to revise it in the spring when we can see what lies beneath the undergrowth.

Back to Contents Planner's Comments Thanks to Tony and Margaret for controlling and Ray for helping put out controls. Bulwell Hall is quite a contrast to the last area I planned in - Loch Vaa in Scotland, venue for the World Relay Orienteering Championships in 1999.
